The Biometrics Research Group Inc. predicts the global biometrics market will grow to 35.5 billion USD by 2020, from its 2015 value of 15 billion USD, making it a significant space for the development of new technology and service delivery. The governmental sector has been early adopter of behavioural biometrics, accounting for 40 percent of the market in 2015.
