The Advisory Board of the Global Opportunity Report has been bolstered by Nina Jensen, CEO of WWF Norway.
Nina Jensen joined WWF in 2003 and was appointed CEO in 2012. Originally a marine biologist, Nina Jensen has headed WWF Clean Costs Program and was the Conservation Director before becoming CEO. In 2014 she was appointed Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
“It is a great pleasure to be able to welcome Nina Jensen to the Advisory Board. Her insights and dedication will be a strong contribution to the Global Opportunity Report, and we are looking forward to the cooperation,” says Bjørn Kj. Haugland, Chief Sustainability Officer in DNV GL and member of the Global Opportunity Reports Steering Committee.
Nina Jensen joins an already strong Advisory Board with five members from DNV GL and – now – five external members. The Advisory Board acts as the sparring partner for the Steering Committee and the secretariat advising on a range of issues but most notably on the selection of opportunities for the report.
“I’m very happy to join this project. I believe we need to turn the discussion so we don´t only talk about sustainability as a risk or a loss, but see it as the opportunity it is,” says Nina Jensen.
